![]() It won’t recognize but I can feel the hard drive running. I was able to transfer and store files and all but when I unplug it (properly) it goes right back to what I stated previously. Another thing I noticed was that when I restart my MacBook Pro and boot into Windows 10 while the Lacie 4TB hard drive still plugged into the Thunderbolt port it recognizes it and works fine with no problems. I tested the same hard drive on the same MacBook Pro under the Mac partition and it worked fine and was being recognized. Now, in my mind I was thinking “OH NO!” not a hardware issue. Below is a picture of the external hard drive I'm referring to: Here is my issue, when I plugged in my LaCie 4TB external hard drive using Thunderbolt 2.0 cable into the thunderbolt port it won’t recognized at all however I could fill my hard drive running when I placed my hand on it to see if it was running. I was so happy and relieved when everything worked properly! I installed everything on my MacBook Pro (Retina 13" 3 GHz, i7, 8Gb Ram, 512G SSD). I followed the instructions to the T on the “How to Install Windows 10 on a Mac using Boot Camp Assistant” on YouTube via the 9to5mac Channel. ![]() ![]() I’ll try to keep it as short as possible but detailed as much as I can, I promise. Let me prep my issue with a little backstory. Could you please help me? I really.really…really need some insight and expertise on this issue that I’m having with my windows 10 under the boot camp partition. ![]()
